#2.  This Bud Vase Centerpiece would be perfect for spring.

#3.  I don't own any washi tape, but this Easter Egg tutorial from Lovely Indeed makes me want to rush out and buy a whole cart full.

#4.  I've been wanting to try out a new chicken recipe, and the crunch on this Double Crunch Honey Garlic Chicken Breast from Rock Recipes looks AMAZING!

#5.  I need to make these Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies from Brown Eyed Baker.  Like yesterday!  Those look mouth-watering-good!

Fun Friday Fascinations #45

#1.  With my hair growing out I've been thinking about braiding more and more.  I'm not that great at it.  I need a lot more practice, and this Draped French Braid by My Shine Project is mega cute.  The perfect practicing tool.

#2.  I love this idea from Sunset.  I think a large planter with our house number painted on it would look lovely on our front stoop.

#3.  This Feather DIY Wall Art by Love Maegan is so chic.  I love the texture of the feathers.  It just looks so lush.

#4.  I seriously want to do some furniture DIYing, and this Bedside Table from Spoonflower is ultra inspiring.

#5.  This Tomato Soup Mac & Cheese from A Local Choice looks delicious.  I love mac & cheese and tomato soup so I know this will be tasty!

Fun Friday Fascinations #44

#1.  I've been dreaming of gardening.  I can't wait for spring to arrive.  So to get gardening inspiration I've been searching the web, and I found this great DIY Outdoor Vertical Gardening idea on Shelterness.  They are using gutters as hanging planters for lettuce and herbs.  What a fantastic idea!  Though I'm fairly certain those types of plants wouldn't grow that giant with that shallow of a root space.  Could look great with some small plants that grow their roots out instead of down.  Of course you could grow herbs and lettuce in there, but don't expect them to get as giant as they would in the ground, or a larger container.

#2.  Love this great Furniture Makeover I found on Dream Green DIY.  The herringbone stencil she used is lovely.  I have a dresser that is similar, that I've wanted to makeover.  Though I'm not sure the herringbone would work with the shape of the drawer faces.  I can't wait for warm weather so I can sand and paint furniture outside!

#3.  Every new year brings my inner desire to organize everything I own to a heightened craze.  My jewelry has been driving me nuts since we moved, but I want to do something different then what I was doing before.  I love this DIY Vintage Jewelry Stand from Acute Designs.

#4. I want to use this DIY Paper Basket from Ellinée for more organizing projects.  I love the way the craft paper looks, but I'd also love to experiment with other papers with a similar weight.  Like butcher paper, wrapping paper, or play with dying the paper.  The ideas are endless!

#5.  I love DIY stamps.  I'm not sure why I haven't made any of my own, but every time I see a tutorial I pin it.  Like this lovely DIY Stamp Village I found on Fellow Fellow.  It's especially funny that I pin the tutorials, because I have a degree in printmaking, so I know about stamp making, and all sorts of relief printing processes.  Yet for some reason I've been keeping my love for printmaking at an arms length.  Just admiring it's many facets from afar.

Well I hope you enjoyed my finds, and Happy Fun Friday Fascinations, chris!

Fun Friday Fascinations #41

#1. Oreo Cookie Pancakes from Minimalist Baker.  Woah!  These look amazing. Breakfast for dinner anyone?

#2.  In lieu of the approaching holiday (valentine's day), here are some pink chocolate chip cookies.  Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies from Sally's Baking Addiction.

#3.  I love DIYs that involve plastic animals, and this DIY Ring Dish by Delightfully DIY is adorable.  Too bad I don't have enough rings to need a ring dish.

#4. I'm also a big fan of a good cat DIY, and this Cat Scratcher Frame from Old House New Tricks is great.  Those cheap-o cardboard cat scratches we use could do for a make over.

#5.  I want to make a bowl for my onions, and I love how colorful this DIY Confetti Bowl from V Juliet is.  Absolutely fantastic!  I wonder if it would be sturdy enough for a bunch of onions and maybe some garlic ...

Fun Friday Fascinations #40

#1.  This photo I found on last week's Shirk Report from Twisted Sifter has me cracking up.  I even roped some people at work into helping me recreate our own version of it!

#2.  This cutting board set from ModCloth is a great idea.  I'm always using random bowls for the foods I'm chopping, and this would be a great solution to my mess.

#3.  This is a fantastic DIY idea from Créme de la Craft for creating Mittens From an Old Sweater.

#4.  I love Blowfish shoes, and this cheetah print pair is mega cute.  I use to be completely anti-animal prints, but I'm quickly falling in love.

#5.  I pinned this dress I found on Chictopia earlier in the week, and it has been my most popular pin in a looooong time.  In a major way!

Well I have more dishes to wash, and dinner to make.  Have a great Friday, chris!

Fun Friday Fascinations #39

#1. Gallery walls are really in right now, and I can totally get down with this design idea.  I have a ton of art to hang, and I always find it hard to pick just a couple for a small wall.  Of course you don't want to over do it.  It's probably not suggested to do a gallery wall in every room of your home, but a couple might be stylish.  At Home In Love has a few fantastic examples of well done Gallery Walls.

#2.  Ruffled has a fantastic DIY Table Runner, made with paint sticks!  How brilliant is that?  Great looking, and functional, can it get better then that?

#3.  Saw this great DIY bookcase and table on Apartment Therapy.  Love the gas pipe used for the bookcase, and who doesn't love reclaimed wood?  I'd love to build an open closet with gas pipe, I'm sure it would look amazing.

#4.  This Homemade Italian Cream Soda from Butter With A Side Of Bread is making my mouth water.  I'd love to have a whole cache of flavored syrups.

#5.  All Recipes has this great cupcake recipe for a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcake.  I definitely want to try it out.  Looks extra yummy.

Fun Friday Fascinations #38

#1.  I'm totally digging this retro style coffee table from All Modern.

#2.  Love this DIY bench from Mak & Jill.  It's made of two antique chairs facing each other!

#3.  This is a great idea for storage in a kitchen, found on My Home Ideas.  Definitely an idea I want to keep in mind when we remodel ours.

#4.  I've been searching for a playful small sugar bowl.  My two requirements are that it has a lid and a small spoon.  It is beyond hard to find something that meets those requirements.  Though it doesn't get any better then this one on Amazon.

#5.  I always have food on my mind, and this Strawberries & Cream Mug Cake looks amazing.  I can't wait until strawberries are in season again!

I hope ya'll had a great week, and happy Fun Friday Fascinations, chris!

Fun Friday Fascinations #36

#1. We need switchplates, and this style from Anthropologie caught my eye.  Not sure i would ever spend that on a switchplate though.  Maybe for the one by the front door, that everyone sees.

#2.  I love this shelving idea I found on archiproducts. I always want more shelves.

#3.  This dress from ModCloth is adorable.  It would be great for so many occasions, and it could work for all seasons.

#4.  I'm a big fan of Jeffery Campbell's cutout wedge line that ModCloth sells.  This would look great with that dress above too!

#5.  I wish I was this talented with nail art.  I found this on Current Fixation.  I mean Hot Dang Christmas Nails!!!

Happy Fun Fascination Friday, chris!

Fun Friday Fascinations #35

#1.  I'm a giant fan of cheese, I mean who isn't?  My family loves appetizers so for our Christmas dinner we skip the whole sit down dinner bit, and just gorge on savory finger food and sweets.  This Snowman Cheese Ball from Betty Crocker would be a hugh hit.

#2.  I don't hand make all my Christmas cards, but with this simple Button Wreath idea from My Favourite Things I totally could.  Only things is I already bought some Unicef cards, and I don't have too many green buttons.  Or maybe none at all ...

#3.  Create Craft Love has a cute DIY for Paint Chip Gift Tags.   This could also work on a card too.

#4.  Wow, I love this Orikami Clock from Fab.  It would look amazing in our living room!

#5.  I desperately need some new tops, and I think this cute little number from ModCloth would fit in hanging up in my closet.

Hope ya'll enjoy your weekend, and Happy Fun Friday Fascinations, chris!
